Sindee Smolowitz is a highly effective attorney with over twenty-five years’ experience successfully litigating complex civil matters, including but not limited to business disputes, real estate matters, and legal malpractice claims. She is very client-oriented and strives to develop her cases for early resolution by uncovering crucial evidence in a targeted, strategic and efficient manner. Over the past few years, Sindee has enjoyed a growing estate planning, probate and trust practice. As an estate planner she works closely with her clients to guide them through the often complex and overwhelming estate planning process to assure that each client fully understands the options when planning for the future needs of their families, friends, beloved pets, and favorite charities. Sindee is especially sensitive to the unique planning challenges faced by parents who have children with special needs as well as the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. Sindee is also a certified mediator and arbitrator. She received her training and certification from the Strauss Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School. Sindee has served as a mediator or arbitrator for countless attorney-client fee disputes for both local bar associations and the California State Bar as well as private matters. Sindee Smolowitz, was born in Brooklyn, New York August 27, 1952 and was admitted to the California Bar in 1987 and the Washington D.C. Bar in 1998. Sindee graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973 and received her Juris Doctor in 1986 from George Mason School of Law (Virginia). She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service from 1973-1986.
